Baby Mod Cadence 4 in 1 Crib

Good evening, ladies!  I was just looking at cribs on WalMart.com and am looking at getting the Cadence Crib by Baby Mod- and maybe 2 dressers.  The reviews look really good and I love the style of the crib.  Does any1 here have this crib?  I know the info on the crib says it is pine but I want to make sure the entire crib is made of real wood.  I hate when things are advertised as wood but only the outside/front are made of real wood and the rest is fake.  I want a crib that will be sturdy and last for a long time.

Get it! We did, and it's all set up and it's GORGEOUS. It's extremely sturdy, and the finish is beautiful. We got it in black, and it even came with the toddler rail, which a lot of cribs don't. Are they still running the special with the free mattress? We got that too and it's really nice.

ohhh, you did get it!  it looks very nice!  we are thinking of going with the espresso finish or honey oak.  my lovely not so little brother also has an employee discount at WalMart so I am pretty sure we are going to go with this one....just wanted to make sure I got some real opinions since they don't have them on display at stores, at least not around here.  did you buy any other furniture pieces?  I'm thinking the dressers would have some type of fake wood to them....

As much as I love the crib, I just didn't like the look of the dressers. I wanted one of the longer ones that can be used as a changing table as well, so we're going with a Graco one that will hopefully match well. Good luck!

CAREFUL!!!!! We bought this crib because i heard good things from people on here. The dresser is Out of stock and we were told it would not be coming back. When the crib came in it was the wrong color, no mattress, and the changer came from the wrong collection. It is really difficult getting hold of someone to talk to re: mistakes. They do not exchange, they return and you have to re order. If the collection is there in the full color you want, good luck that it comes correct, if a piece is out of stock, dont count on it coming back....

 We just went to milliondollarbaby.com (maker of baby mod and davinci) and ordered the kalani set instead (its almost identical to cadence) from one of thier local stores that carries the line... Everything came perfect and beautiful!

Good luck, I'd watch out for walmart....

Baby Bargains gives Million Dollar Baby (the maker of Baby Mod) an overall B- rating.  They said it is genreally good bang for the buck and very safe, but they do cut corners in construction and use lots of wood composites.

I bought it - love it.  It is still on Walmart.com for .97 shipping and including the free mattress.
