Little Lamb swing question

I just put my LO in her little lamb swing for the first time.  I have it on the side to side setting, and it seems to be a pretty powerful swing - my DH and I were almost alarmed at how fast it goes.  She appears to be falling asleep in it.  Should I leave the swing function on, or should I turn it off?

I'd leave it on.  As she gets heavier it will get less powerful.

If you put a blanket on her and let it hang down off the swing a little it helps to slow it down. That's what we used to do.

Aww - thank u!  Your baby girl is also so precious!  Beautiful eyes.

Our DS loves it on the highest setting, and often will only sleep and nap that way.  It's our saving grace since we are battling reflux and colic.  I don't know what I'd do without that thing.

i thought this exact same thing when i used it the first time.... it freaked me out, but DH said to leave him for a little while and see what happened.  i sat right next to it the whole time and LO seemed to be perfectly content and fell right to sleep.... hes in it daily now, and seems to love it...
