Baby registry

I can't stop registry stalking and changing/adding things to it! Does anyone have any tips for registry must haves that are out of the ordinary? You know, besides the typical.whats the number one thing u can't live without?

I never thought I would buy one of these, but our absolute item these days is a bottle warmer. DS does not like to wait for his bottle to warm up and this has made our lives much more easy.

Can't live without...

Baby sling. We have the balboa baby sling and I call it my secret weapon. Whenever he gets fussy I pop DS in there and he falls asleep within 5 minutes or just gets happy and starts making his wild animal sounds.

Wipe warmer. This made late night changes so much happier for DS. I wouldn't want cold wipes on my butt at 2 am either.

Boppy pillow. It's not just great for BFing, I let DS nap in it (even though it says not to).

Fisher Price soothing sounds sea horse. This has become our night time routine and he loves this toy.

I am totally opposite. I am just about ready to return my bottle warmer - everyone told me that it was essential to have one but my tap water gets so hot I can warm the bottle fairly quickly. I have not had to use my bottle warmer one time.

I would say my absolute must have is my baby moniter, bouncer and moses basket. I use the moniter for when I step away to make bottles in the kitchen and DS is in the room right next door sleeping. I'm always afraid the cat will try to sleep with him so I don't keep the door open. I use the moses basket in the living room right now for his day time naps. He seems too small for the swing (he is 9 pounds now) so we use the bouncer - I put him in it and carry him to the bathroom with me or to the kitchen when cleaning bottles and cooking dinner while he is awake.

I don't like my boppy pillow by the way - I just don't find it comfortable.
