Tsunami Warning?
I woke up this morning to DH watching the news about the 8.8 earthquake that hit Chile. So sad!! Now there are tsumani warnings for Hawaii and California!!! Crazy! They said "if" the waves hit California, it'll hit in La Jolla (San Diego area) first. So sad!
Anyone from SoCal hearing any updated news? My younger sister is in La Jolla going to college...I'm just being a worried older sister.

Oh, your sister must live up north of me by Humbolt County? They just had two big earthquakes within two months of each other, I think. So crazy!! We had a smaller one (about 4.2) a few months back and I'm at the top floor of my building...so we just swayed back and forth, but it was so scary! And I was only 5 when the big '89 earthquake hit, so I dont remember much...
...But for living in a place where earthquakes are so common, I'm still scared shiitless of them!
Yea, it's definitely scary being on the top floor. I guess that's one thing you have to consider when you live in California, earthquakes. I hate them...even the small ones. But it's weird, call my crazy but I'd rather live where the earthquakes are rather then where the tornado's are. Now THOSE scare the crap out of me!
