Tummy time

LO HATES tummy time.  He gets frustrated when he cant move around and almost instantly starts crying.  Anyone else like this?  what do you do?

My baby hates it too and I don't know what to do. He is already starting to get a flat spot on the back of his head!!

we do some tummy time on the floor, but most of Ella's tummy time is on her daddy's chest. Sean lies on the couch and Ella lies on his chest. She picks her head up to see his face. I also put her high on my shoulder when she is fussy but not tired. She holds her head up that way a lot too.

My Pedi said that most babies hate tummy time. I think it is because of the frustration that they can't get around as easy as they want.  My LO always gets frustrated. She bobs her head around and tries to eat the blanket, all while whining and then eventually starts crying. I try to keep her on there until she starts crying and then I roll her over. I don't want to frustrate her more. But my pedi said that it's normal. As long as she is moving her head back and forth, she is getting the exercise that she should be getting. Our tummy times literally last like 5 minutes. I just try to do it more often so she gets in more time.
