Does Fenugreek work?

Just curious of your experiences with Fenugreek - did it work?

I took fenugreek for about a month and I never saw any increase in supply.  The only change I noticed was that I smelled like maple syrup and it gave DD and I bad gas.

I have heard that it does help quite a bit, and like pp it makes you smell like syrup (yuck).  I think it is worth a shot if you are having supply issues.  I think I may need to consider it once I go back to work in order to keep my supply up and running. I want to be able to BF Eli for at least 1 year.
