So I started my first pp period on Wednesday, got mirena put in Thursday, and by Friday morning had stopped bleeding. That couldn't have been it for monthly gift could it? Anyone have mirena or other iud and have very abbreviated periods right off the bat?

    Mine had practically stopped by the time I had the Mirena put in, but then I spotted for a day, and haven't bled since.  Its been almost 3 weeks, so we'll see what happens when I should start again....

    I got Mirena January 26th and spotted for 3 weeks and then on Tuesday this week I started cramping super bad and started AF on Wednesday andam done as of last night. My periods used to be like 11 days when I was on no BC and 6 days on NuvaRing.
