Face help--what's helping

Just thought I'd post on what I've changed in the past two weeks with significant improvement in my skin.  My skin was not just breaking out (weird ones, too...not what I was used to prepreg) but my skin looked dull and dry, too.  I'm not sure if it is one part or the whole, but I think the coconut oil is the true helper.  I try to be aware of what products I use on my face, trying to stay as natural as I can.  More so now as I've learned how many products are not recommended for use during pregnancy.  Kinda scary so I'm hoping my new routine will work after pregnancy b/c it is soooo much more affordable!

Face Wash - Belli Acne Clearing Facial Wash (made for pregnancy)  Use as face wash, I sometimes let it sit as mask in shower while in shower.

Spot treatments - Milk of Magnesia (works great at drying out unsighltly bumps)  Can also use all over as a mask, but it is fairly drying so I only did this in the begining.

Moisturizer - Coconut Oil (massage on face/eyes/lips, or entire body if you wish, in a.m. and p.m., a little goes a long way as it heats up with your body heat)  Also make a great moisturizing treatment for hair!

I got rid of my Bare Escentuals, it just wasn't wearing well anymore.  I switched to a natural tinted moisturizer which goes on very well after the coconut oil.  I sometimes find tinted moist. wouldn't blend in well, but the added moisture helps.

Just thought I would pass along.  Hopefully someone can benefit as I did, but understand that everyone's skin is different.  But hey, if you were fed up like me, you may find it worth trying.

Coconut oil is a great thing to have on hand.  There are so many benefits and can be used for the baby, too (diaper rash, etc).  Just be sure to buy a quality one meant for a moisturizer, not cooking which is usually in a glass jar.
