Not sure how long I would go. There are some days where he is not near as active as he normally is. I would lay down on my side and try to poke at him to see if I get a reponse. How long has it been since you felt LO move?
From what I understand towards the end they start running out of room so the movement changes. I would think if you are still feeling nudges you are in the clear. Any movement is good.

IDK but I would count small nudges so I guess I don't knwo why you need BIG movements. At this point in the game there isn't much room for big movement and it slows down in the end.
In this and my first pregnancy I was never not able to rouse the baby. My babies tend to love sugar and I tend to indulge in it regularly.
So if you can, try the usual, drink something super sugary, change positions, poke your belly if I felt nothing over the course of an hour I'd call. Better safe than sorry.
I'm not sure how long I would wait. He has his days where he's way less active than others...like he just sleeps all day and then the next day, I'm getting my tail kicked from within once again.
Your LO probably doesn't have enough room to make any big, sweeping movements anymore. I would say that as long as you're feeling nudges, it's all good.

My LO has days when he is SUPER active and days when he hardly moves at all but at my last appointment with the midwife -22 weeks- she said that if even one day went by that I didnt feel him that she expected a call. I think OBGYN's usually dont tell you that till 26 weeks though.
Thanks ladies... of course when I post this the little bugger starts his normal movements. He hadnt really moved for some time and I had a Dr. Pepper(which is like a once a week thing) so I got worried when he wasn't doing the disco in my belly. That and his HR was lower than usual at today's appointment, still in normal range but low for him. He's normally steady at 140-145 but today was 120. Now he's stretching his legs out and using my cervix as a punching bag so I'm happy he's ok lol
My midwife said that for kick counts, small nudges count, hiccups don't. But she also said that if I ever had even the slightest feeling that something was "off," to come in for a NST since it's such a simple test. So go ahead and call if you feel like you should--it's not worth it to worry.
I was just in L&D yesterday because at my appointment yesterday morning I'd mentioned to my doc that I only feel little movements with random full-blown kics/punches throughout the day. He said that thats not good and I should be feeling the stronger kicks/punches at least 10 times in 2 hours all day, whether LO is "sleeping" or not. I was ordered to go home, eat a larger sized meal, lay on my left side in a quiet room with NO distractions and a big glass of ice water and do kick counts for two hours. Hiccups don't count as movement. If baby moved any less than 10 times in that two hours I had to go to L&D. LO only moved four times so we went. LO is fine, the heartbeat is irregular and he/she kept kicking the monitor but that was it. I was sent home with a kick count chart and have to do them every night (een if LO has been super active) and show the chart to my doc at every visit.
Re: Yes I am going to ask this question thats been asked a zillion times....

My pregnancy book said at about 35 weeks movement becomes less fequent b/c the baby is running out of room.
You know your body and your baby better then anyone...if you are nervous, there is no shame in calling the doctor.
