What do you consider a "wet" diaper?

I get worried about this. Do you consider it wet if it's heavy or just if the line is blue? DD's diapers are usually heavy in the AM but during the day, they're mostly lightweight. I'm assuming that it's because I'm on top of her diaper changing but I feel like she's not getting enough  from me yesterday and today. (I BF during the day)

  • Usually heavy but I'll change it if it's blue.

  • I have no idea what the "blue" is.. but they don't always have to be super heavy.. as long as the diaper is wet, I don't worry.. she always let's me know if she is hungry :>

Duh. My fault there. Sorry! Pampers has a line that turns blue if the diaper is wet. Sometimes the line is blue but the diaper is superlight.

  • if the line is blue-wet. Get used to squeezing the diapers to figure out if they are wet though bc once you move up in size the line is gone! (if you squeeze the diaper it will feel jelly-like and slushy if its wet)

See - this is how her morning diapers are but not how they are during the day. Her line can change blue and her diaper feels dry.

Oh! I'm more concerned with the "6 - 10" wet diapers a day guideline for making sure she's getting enough to eat. My baby is small so between doc visits, I get all crazy mama about it.

  • I definitely don't wait until it's heavy.  I change every 3-4 hours during the day, or after naps/ BMs

OIC.  If baby peed, it's wet
