We have blinds in our den. Our house is on a slope so you can see right in...thus, the blinds.
I was at the top of our property looking down in the late evening this week. Yeah. You can see right in. The blinds aren't really doing their job.
When I think of things my neighbors have seen...
Re: a big whoops
hahaha!
I hope they've been seeing live sex shows and eating popcorn while watching.
If you turn the blinds the opposite direction can they still see in? One office I worked in was next to a daycare and we found that if the light was on in the bathroom people could see in (if we had the blinds the regular way). Couldn't see if we turned them, so we had to stick a note on them so no one would think they were backward/upside down and turn them. lol
BTW...we have absolutely no window coverings on any of the rooms at the back of our house (kitchen, familyroom, master bedroom, bathroom). We have a big yard (an acre) and a cow pasture behind us...plus trees. We had utility guys walking behind our house the other day and I thought WTF?! We have nothing utility back there. As it was they were changing our meter that is on the side of our house...toward the front. I feel it is an invasion of privacy for someone to walk in my backyard. Front yard I don't care.
I should say they are roll-up shades, not blinds. They have tiny, tiny slats -- and are apparently useless in terms of shading anything.
