Any CPA recs?

We're getting a late start, but I'm not sure I'll be able to do our taxes this year.  I've been doing them for the past few years but this year we sold a house & most of my income is from work from home self-employment.  Can you recommend anyone?  How much does it cost to have someone do your taxes?  After I gather all my docs, I may just go ahead and do it, but might want someone to review them for me...do people do this?  Thanks!

    He has been a family friend for 20 years.  Did four years of my grandmother's taxes and negotiated w/ the IRS to reduce her debt for a VERY reasonable amount of money.
