I HAVE to start checking my receipts more closely

I just came across a receipt from last month where I bought a birthday gift and a bedding set A asked for. There was a Barbie toy I was going to get but when the cashier scanned it it wasn't marked down (was in clearance section). I was in a rush for the party and didn't pay attention. She totally charged me for it. I have no idea how I will be able to prove that a month later. $15 toy I don't even have.

    That sucks. Did you pay cash? If it is on credit maybe you can dispute it with the cc company.

    Of all the times I actually used my bank card as a debit instead of credit. :-( I'll call tomorrow (today) and just ask the store.
