Okay, I never spotted during ovulation before my m/c. I know I am supposed to ovulate soon and I spotted a little tonight - does that indicate that ovulation is soon or already happened?? I am sorry for the dumb question, but I am not used to the new normal yet...

Re: Ovulation spotting??
If I have O spotting it's usually right when I'm O'ing (that day) - but if I were you, I'd BD today and tomorrow

Thanks em! Okay, we defintely will then!
My cycle is so different now, it is driving me nuts.
And hi!!! How are you?
I have once before (and got a BFP that cycle!) and it was just a bit after I O'd. it was described to me that the spotting occurs as a result of the egg being released.

Thank you! That helps Denise!
I have had mid-cycle spotting almost every cycle for the past 2 years. It's usually very watery and pale pink or red. I spot for a few days to over a week before I ovulate. I usually stop a day or two before o itself and I never spot after ovulation.
Mid-cycle spotting can vary a lot from woman to woman and cycle to cycle, so it's not a useful predictor of ovulation, although it's allegedly not an ominous sign to have.
