PIP: Put mobile on front or side of crib?

Since it has such a high back I can't put the mobile on the back which is where I would have liked to have put it. I think it looks beter on the side my only conern is that even though I can get it pretty tight, the side of the crib slants down so it's not like it has a flat mounting point like the front does, but it looks really dumb in the front and in the way. hmm...

I like it better on the side... but if it's not secure then that's wouldn't be an option for me.

If you are more likely to put the baby in the middle of the crib, then it should go on the front.  They move around more than you think!

The side, I had the same problem with DS crib because it had a high back as well and thankfully I kept the crib so will use it again with DD.

I like it on the side.  I think it would be awkward to take the baby in and out with the mobile in front.
