XP: potty seat rave

I posted this on Toddlers 24+ Months but I figured you ladies may like the info too.

I finally broke down and bought a toilet seat that has the child's seat and adult seat all in one.  DS kept almost falling when he was using the one that goes on top on the regular seat.  The new one magnetically holds the child's seat in the lid until it is needed.  Once I showed DS how to use it he got it right away.  When the lid is down you can't even tell that there is a potty seat there.

I got it at Home Depot for $35.  I couldn't find it on their website though, the pictures are from another website.  I can't figure out how to put the picture directly in here so here is a link to the pictures.  Just click on more images so see how it actually works.

  • We have it and I love it.  DH hates it becuase the seat won't stay up on its own for him to pee.  Fine by me, then he doesn't leave it up, but then he pees on the seat.  Ew.    I got ours online.  Just google family potty seat.

I'm sorry yours doesn't stay up.  Ours does, well at least now it does.  Hopefully it still does after a few uses.  Smile

  • One Step Ahead carries a similar "invisible" potty seat in both the white plastic and wood.

Glad to hear that your son likes it.

  • I totally agree! We have the same one and I swear it has made my life so much easier. When we had the little one you had to set on the seat each time, DS would pee all over it and then there would be pee all over my bathroom. Gross. I love the built in one!
  • We have a similar one from Target and love it!  It's a perfect seat for in a guest bathroom/powder room, too - there's always the right size seat, regardless of the guest AND there aren't nasty potties or toilet rings sitting around cluttering everything :)
