When will you allow your DC to date?

Tragedy in my local area has sparked this.

Cliff notes version: 3 teenage girls (15-16) made a pact to commit suicide by jumping in front of a fast speed train. Two went through with it and lost their lives. A month ago, one of the girls' teenage bf was suddenly killed when the bike he was riding on collided w/ a car.

Goodness... that is really tragic.

I had to wait until I was 16 to go on a date by myself.

I could go on an outing with a guy if his parent was with him at 14 I remember. I did that once.
