Head size ???

So we have an appiontment next week with DS pedi to check his head circumference. His weight and height was in about the 50% where he head was about 75-80% The doctor said it wasnt something to be worried about, yet. I dont dare google it because I dont want to freak myself out about something it isnt. But should i be worried??

Re: Head size ???

  • Monk was 50% for weight and 75% for head. The pedi said nothing. I wouldn't worry about it (and also wouldn't google it).

  • I love the new siggy pic!!!!!
  • Has the percentage for his head dropped or increased dramatically?

If it's stayed around the same I wouldn't worry. Well, I probably wouldn't worry if the pedi isn't anyway.

  • Our DS's head is pretty big around.. dunno %'s but he does look a bit top-heavy! Dr didn't seem worried though, I think when they're small like this they can grow a bit unevenly for a while Big Smile

  • We are on the other end, head is 25% while length is 95% and weight 75%. DS has always had a small head though, important thing is it grows steadily.

  • I have the opposite problem. DS is 35% for height, 25% for weight, and 0% for head circumference. DH is always worried about his head being too small, but I think he looks proportioned and the doctor says he's fine.

  • Our lo is 0% for head size as well.
