So what masochistic bored a-hole invented it anyway?

I mean, ok.  Sewing, I can see that.  You need to hold your mammoth hide together.  Unga.  Make needle, sew together with catgut.  Unga.  Hey look, stitches are pretty, let's decorate it.  Unga. 

Weaving, again, thatched rooves with leaves, etc, hey it keeps rain off people, too, oh look, clothes.

Knitting and crocheting ???  I'm gonna take 2 sticks and some thread and do WHAT???

OK get on with your regularly scheduled nesting.

     I sadly realized last night that the adorable USA Olympic team reindeer hat I'm making for W?  Yeah.  Might actually fit a real reindeer.  I'm going to have to felt it and hope it becomes a manageable size.

    It's weird, isn't it?

    Bubs...I went down to size 5 needles to make it 3yo sized-but it makes a very tight fabric!
