Normal in bf babies to go 7-10 days between poops, starting around 3-4months their digestive systems get more efficient. As long as everything else is fine, and it's still mush when it does come out, you're good.
Just have a bath ready on poop day.
DD had this, she would go 5-7 days between, and then just... well.. trust me on the bath LOL
My pedi said that it is normal for bf'ed babies to only poop maybe even as little as once a week. Cohen was usually about once a week, but then it seemed like he'd poop all day.

This. I had called my pedi when DD hadn't gone for 5 days. They told me not to worry unless it had been 7, and even then, it's probably still okay.
As long as he doesn't seem uncomfortable I wouldn't worry about it. I was always told they could go up to a week without going. However, DD was one of the rare constipated BF babies...if she didn't go every day she would scream and cry until and while going. But if it doesn't seem to bother him, he'll probably just have a blow-out whenever he does go!
Totally normal. The girls would go 7-10 days without pooping. Then they'd cry and grunt and be a mess for a day before they could go. Pedi said they weren't even constipated b/c they weren't having pellet poops (TMI, sorry). Just how BF babies are...or sometimes are. DS is starting to get there. I think that's why he was such a mess last night.
I am not looking forward to the explosive poop you all describe but will be on the lookout. Hopefully he will get it all for MIL : ) (cause I am evil like that!) She is watching him in the AM tomorrow
Re: Should I be worried, my BF NB hasn't pooped in almost 4 days?
