When did your baby recognize their name?

I talk to DS all the time and call him by name.  Just wondering when most babies actually recognize when you are calling them by name?

I think DS is just now starting to recognize his name and know we're talking to him.

My still doesn't. She responds to our voice, but not necessarily her name.

mine pretty much does it now.  She used to turn at every name....now she seems to know.

around 5 months when we called him he started looking. but idk if it was because of our voice or his name. but now i know for sure he knows because when ANYONE says aaiden he looks and says "ehhh"

we were at the grocery store and a lady was talking to her son and said his name Aiden and my Aaiden said "ehhhhh??" real loud in the store while looking at her it was so funny.

It's hard to say because he ignores us A LOT no matter what we're doing or saying lol

He definitely turns sometimes when we say it, but he turns to us when we say other things too...

So I don't know.  I think so.  He definitely smiles when we say it.  Yesterday I said it when he was crawling away (going to a place he's not allowed) and he turned to me (smiled) and took off crawling even faster.
