A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

"Finnegan begin again" lol makes me think of that kids song. And Finneous makes me think of the cartoon Finneous and Furb. I vote for Griffin (Fin) and Finely for a girl.

Funny, none of those grab me, but I LOVE Finn! We have are 90% settled on another boys name but I like thinking of other options just in case. I guess there is no reason why it couldnt stand on its own!

If you're looking for a boy name, I like Finnegan and what another poster suggested - Griffin. I hadn't thought of that, but I like it! I guess you could also do Stefan for a boy or Stefanie for a girl.
Fionn (pronounced just like Finn), is a very old traditional Irish name that has stood on it's own for hundreds of years. I don't think you need anything other than that.

We've decided on Finley for a girl (nn Finn).

Although I also love Phinnaeus and Griffin.
If you do Phinnaeus, then Finn won't work.
Finley has been taken by the girls.
I like Finnegan!
