Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Pajamas: one piece or two piece?

DD has been wearing one-piece footed PJs since birth. At Target, now it looks like all they are selling for 18 month size are 2 piece sets! Big girl PJs! I still like the one piece and it seems better--won't ride up on her baby tummy, hard for her to try to take off.

What is your kid wearing? Are there one-piece footies out there in the toddler sizes?

Re: Pajamas: one piece or two piece?

  • DD is wearing 18 month Carters fleece footed sleepers.

  • DD wears both one piece and two piece PJ's.  She wears a onesie always so if the shirt does ride up, she is covered.

BTW- DD has the same winter hat!

  • DD and DS wear a combo of both.  I do like the footed ones because neither of them like to stay covered up :)  If they wear 2 piece I usually put socks on them.

Carters have the footed PJ's up to 5T at least.

  • I know for the winter months, Target does carry one-piece footed pj's for kid sizes and I believe they are in toddler as well.  As well, Carter's also carrys toddler sized fleece zip ups for cooler months... HTH
  • I prefer two piece, because she is potty trained and it is just easier. I like the Carter two piece fleece. I believe they do make two piece with feet, but I don't have them.
  • I found some 1-piece toddler size pj's at Toys R Us in Brookfield - but they didn't have feet, which I found weird. And they were pretty thin.

  • DS has some of both and wears them all regularly - we just switch back and forth. Basically everywhere we buy pajamas, I have seen one-piece footed pajamas in his size (which is now 2T, but usually they even go up to 5T). I have seen them at Gymboree, Wal-mart, Children's Place, BRU, Old Navy, etc.

  • We have some of both. I have 24 and 2T footed sleepers - mostly fleece ones that are from walmart.

She has the 2 piece ones, too.

  • He's nearly 14 months but he still mostly wears one piece pajamas. We have a few two pieces, but he doesn't really wear them often. He has Woody and Buzz pajamas from the Disney store. They are 2T but I guess run small because they just fit him.
  • I just saw 2T one piece footies in a cotton material at Target.  They had some hanging and some were in a package hanging on the end of an aisle.
  • fleecy footed jammies for #2 but 2 piece footless for my potty trained gal.
