It's up.
I wanted to write and write and write about how much your family has given up, and how you caught that picture, that the looks on their faces really are just saying Daddy stay home and play. I really could have written forever on that picture.
Thank you for letting me use it.

Re: Leslie
Yay! I'm glad you liked it.
Did you see the post I paged you on last night? I made a few edits in lightroom, but I don't think they worked out very well. The one I posted I bumped the exposure just a tiny bit, but that was all.
No I didn't see it.
Yeah I played with that pic in LR for a while, and couldn't do much more with it. The lighting was horrible in here so the SOOC version was pretty badly exposed since I didn't have time to put on my light scoop. That's actually why I want to try and restage the picture with better lighting so I can hang it up without hating the technical aspects every time I see it. LOL
HERE
I think you should submit it to that girl on the photography board who does those "edit my pics" challenges. Someone with more skill should be able to do something with it.
I worked on it in photoshop too, and the problem is the redness in front and how it blends back into a normal skin tone. When I tried to select just that area and tone down the red, the edges would turn green. No good.
I will keep working on it because it's a good challenge!
Yeah, I could def tell that was a natural tendency with him. Mixed with the fact that the army probably doesn't encourage suncreen application breaks.
Thankfully he realizes that, and understands that being a redhead with skin that burns at the drop of a hat puts him at an even greater risk. He almost always wears sunscreen (when he has time to put it on... I guess I can't ask for anything more) and sees a dermatologist once a year to check for suspicious moles and spots. He even humors me and wears the spf 70 paste, since he knows he can't apply it often enough to get away with anything less than that.
He's a good man.
Aw, that's awesome.
People get attacked in my house in the summertime. I keep a bottle on the railing at the top of my stairs, and you WILL wear sunscreen if you expect to drink beer on my deck or play basketball out front.
I had a dear friend who died from melanoma, basically the same thing Izzy had on Grey's. She was 48 years old. It's just not worth it.
