  • Our local library usually has a drop-in story time at least once a week. You could also try looking up the Ontario Early Years Centre nearest you; they usually have a variety of free classes and activities for kids.

  • Have you tried meetup.com - if you search for 'moms' within like 25 miles of Toronto there are a bunch of mommy groups.
  • Loading the player....
  • What neighborhood are you in?

I go to a drop in, an early years centre, and the library every week.  Swimming is free at the rec cetres too.

  • I'm in the Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton area

There are three Early Years Centres in Hamilton, one in Burlington, and one in Oakville, so hopefully one of those is close to you. I've met some really nice moms through their programs.?

  • swimming here is cheap, like $2.  Some indoor play areas are cheap on tuesdays.  You could try them out during the week.
