Where to go with a 5/6 month old?

Hi Ladies!

So...since Spring is around the corner (yay!), I am starting to get excited and wanting to plan fun activities for the three of us to do outside the house. DS is 4.5 months now so when the nice weather comes he will be 5-6 months old. What would you recommend? Also, we are thinking of taking day trips (2-3 hour drive max). So far I've thought of:

-DC Zoo

-Baltimore Aquarium

-National Harbor

-Oldtowne Alexandria

-Parks/Trails/Botanical Gardens (any recs here please?)

What have you done/where have you gone with your SO and your LO(s) and enjoyed it? TIA!

I love the DC botanical garden. Also if you are going to the National Harbour there is a really nice indoor garden on the bottom floor.  Also love the National Arboretum.  It's kind of in the middle of no where NW DC but well worth the trip especially when the lilacs are in full bloom.  They are so pretty!

Truthfully go where YOU want to go.  At 6 months any change of scenery, including the grocery store, is exciting for the LO.  So if you've had a strong desire to go see X, Y, or Z - that's a great age to take them along.
