Cake recommendations?

Hi ladies,

I'm looking into getting a cake for DS's first bday. It'll be a fondant cake.  I can't even remember all the cake vendors I contacted for our wedding.  I'm still waiting to get the quote back from the cake vendor we used for our wedding but wanted to check with you ladies for any recommendations.  Thank you for any recommendations!

We used to The Cakery in Southlake for our wedding and they do excellent fondant work and were not very expensive from what I remember.

We used Simply Cakes in Colleyville for Colton's first birthday. I told her what I wanted and it was just as I imagined.

We will use Simply Cakes again.

I forgot to add, the cake and cupcakes were freakin' amazing!!! The cupcakes were a banana flavor and then the cake was vanilla creme or something. People couldn't stop talking about how good it tasted.

Big fan of Delicious Cakes in Southlake, Fancy Cakes by Lauren in Dallas (she did my daughters most recent Birthday cake) and Opulent Cakes in Colleyville did hers the two previous years!

I also used Fancy Cakes by Lauren for my wedding, she did a GREAT job!

I love this lady named Sherry. She makes out of her house and made my baby shower cake. She is AMAZING!!! she is very reasonable too. i can email you pictures, but I can't seem to figure out how to post things in your bio yet. (haha)
