Looking for live in Nanny

This is our first child and I really want to find someone that can be a live in, and provide as much care and love for our little one as possible.. Anyone know of anywhere I can start to look? I found a website called Care.com, but you have to have a membership to even talk to anyone. Any ideas???

I did a little looking around online and found Oregon Nannies and/or NW Nannies - I can't remember exactly, just do a google search.  I also saw a lot of legitimate looking listings on craigslist - I would just make sure to thoroughly look into them (I have access to criminal records at work and a PI, so I was willing to do the research on my own).

It doesn't hurt to check care.com, but for a live in, I'd be more likely to use NW Nannies.  They'll really help you screen people to find a good fit.  It's hard enough to find a full time nanny that fits.  I can't imagine having to add in finding someone who you want to live with you 24/7.  Another option for when the baby is new is to hire doulas.  I love ABC Doulas.  Kimberly and her crew helped us a lot.
