I haven't nursed DS since last Wednesday, and I am still engorged (and in pain!). I've taked 60mg of Sudafed today and will take more in the AM. How long until I feel some relief?

I have a friend who did this, she took it according to the package instructions (it was like 2 capsules, every 6 hours). And it only took 2 days (8 doses) for her to notice a huge decline.
She never pumped to help the engorgement, but she did hand express a little here and there just to take the edge off.
Did you get the kind from the pharmacist? (not the kind on the shelf)
Than this makes you a smartie pants and I'm going to ask my pharmacist for some too. As an EPer, I'm down to only 2 pumps a day and dreading the next step in completely weaning from the pump.
AF is on her way, so I was hoping to take advantage of my usual supply drop during her visit. Hopefully adding in some Sudafed will help too!

I eped and didn't have much trouble when I weened completely. I leaked for a day, so I took sudafed for a day and I was almost completely dried up. I was a little more sensitive for a few days but that was it.

It only took a couple of doses for me (after DD) to relieve the pressure. I was completely dry within a couple of weeks, but only took a couple of doses.
