Changing pad on dresser ... how to best secure it?

Those "no slide" pads it comes with are worthless. I thought of using Velcro strips but don't want to ruin the dresser top. Any other ideas?

  • I thought most had a strap that you can secure to the back of the dresser?

  • Try getting some of that stuff you can stick the the bottom of carpets so that they don't slip on hardwood or tile floors. :) Stick it to the underside of the pad, and it should work pretty good!! My carpets don't move AT ALL.

That's what I use.  I have a hyperactive toddler who kicks, spins, stands up and everything else you can imagine while getting his diaper changed and have never had a problem with the changing pad slipping around.

  • The one I got for downstairs is flat so I don't waste as much space, and as a result doesn't have the straps like upstairs.  I got that rubbery shelf liner for under it and it works great so far!
