Question about booster car seats

You don't use a latch with booster seats, right?  We have a combo harness/belt positioning booster in DH's car (which does not have latch anyway).  I'm thinking ahead to when DS uses the booster and hoping that it is secure with just the seat belt.  Is that how it's intended to be used - with a seat belt only?

When they are in a booster you only use the seat belt, there is no latch system.

Ours are belt only.

We recently moved my son to a booster and it just bascially sits on the seat - no latch.
