Does your DH ever make comments?

Does you DH notice you have let things regarding your personal appearance slide?

Surprisingly my DH doesn't.  He did a couple times but then I started spending money to go to the salon and stuff and it shut him right up. He Hated spending all the money.

No he doesn't and when I complian he tells me to go do whatever...I'm the one who has a hard time spending money.

He will notice when I need to get my eyebrows and my upper lip waxed and he lets me know.

I don't take offense, I usually just forget about it and then make an appointment when he mentions it.

he comments on my figure from time to time.  He's not wrong, so I can't fault him for it and he's not mean about it either.  It's just a fact.  I do not look the same as I did when we got married.

My DH is constantly complimenting me on things. It's me that is down on myself - mostly because I just feel so untoned. Yet, I shouldn't complain as I haven't done much about it!

No, never.  He tells me to go do what ever I want to, but like PP I hate spending the money on myself.

The only time I can remember him saying something about appearance was when I had a massive zit on my chin that I kept effing with.  He told me to stop picking at it cause "it's starting to look like a disease"

Not really. Only if I say stuff myself and ask his opinion. He did say something about me needing new lazy day clothes because he thought my sweats were not cute. I normally just wear jeans but lately have been wearing a lot of sweats on my day off..

Never, he always makes me feel great even though I gained 30 pounds in the last 2 years TTC. However, he is very supportive when I tell him I want to go to the gym;)

He tells me how great I look all the time (even though I truely don't feel that way since the weight gain and I feel somewhat depressed).
