Can I re-teach her to latch better?

Tessa has been a GREAT eater and was born a super sucker but her latch has become more and more shallow - she prefers just to suck on my nipple.  Obviously, this is becoming painful but anytime I try to get her to latch on deeper she protests.  Any tips?

    It may be because your breast size is still increasing.  Try pumping a little milk off before you begin to feed and see if you can get her to take more of your breast in when it's softer.

    When you get her ready to nurse make sure that she opens her mouth really wide.  It may help if you direct your nipple towards to her nose so that she has to tilt her head back a bit and open wide. Then bring her to the breast quickly before she closes her mouth.  HTH!
