I need to win the lottery.

I keep having "flare ups" where I get all kinds of worried about money. We do okay, but were not expecting 2 babies at the same time. I know that we will figure out a way to get through it, but sometimes it just really stresses me out!

I find myself daydreaming about winning the lottery all the time now. Maybe I should start playing...

  • A dollar and a dream, that is all you need.  I'm not a fan of the lottery, but my husband has been playing on a regular basis lately.  :)

Haha!  I love it!  DH and I started playing regularly once DD was born (she was in the NICU for 2.5wks).  It would be awesome if we won, but I doubt it will happen.

  • I'm with you! On top of buying things for babies, we are moving into a bigger apartment and need new furniture and which will have to wait a while.. sigh.

  • me too!  Every time I get an ultrasound bill I want to cry.  My insurance paid $68 on the last one.  Why do I even have insurance if they aren't going to shell out more than a few pennies.

  • You're not alone!  I'm finished work already after this week (I run a home daycare, so have little control over when my families decide to go w/ enough notice.)  I'm OK with that, because it'll give DD and I time to bond before the babies arrive this summer.  It's tough on DH because he'll be supporting us until I'm ready to start up my daycare again - and goodness knows when that might be!  Winning the lottery would be a huge relief!  :)
  • I understand how you feel. When I was pregnant with my girls everything that could go wrong -did- atleast outside of the womb. My husband started having health problems and I got laid off from a job with really wonderful insurance. But God definitely works in mysterious ways. I had the girls 9-11 and my insurance officially ran out 9-14. The girls were early and spent 3 weeks in the NICU but God knows what he is doing.  Now they are here and I can't go shopping all the time but we do ok and have everything we need. i got rehired at the same company that laid me off when the girls were 9 weeks old. But I also dream about winning the lottery so I can stay home with the girls and pay off my student loans. It will all work out :)

I play the lotto every now and then and enter to win almost everything haha.
