3. Stars in my sorority colors 2 of them for my 2 very close friends who went to Iraq, a cross with the star of David on my lower back for my mom and dads family, and a rose for my middle name - my mom picked that one and I got it at age 14.

Interesting though - my DH and I were just discussing the ice dancer with the lower back tattoo. I dont watch much ice skating, but I do not recall seeing tattoos before.
Yes, I love them. I would have more but I think it's important to be 100% sure about what you want and where you want it before getting it inked.
I have 2. One is a celtic triquetra (I had it done before the whole "Charmed" thing). It's on my back between my shoulders. The other is a stemmed rose and it's just inside my left pubic bone.
I was celebrating my Irish roots and my birthday with the triquetra. My rose was a gift to myself at 16.

2. Back of my neck, inside of my left wrist, left upper ribs, and right side (from my bra line to my pants line).
3. I have a Gemini symbol on my neck (because I'm a Gemini
), an all green Celtic clover on my wrist for my Mother (who passed away when I was 15), a sparrow in flight on my left ribs (gotten with good friends after surviving graduate school), and a large pink/red koi fish down my whole right side (representing my on going journey through education and into my first job).
I'm working on putting together a back piece, but don't have the money just yet. It'll be a cherry blossom branch from my lower left side up and across my back to my right shoulder. Can't wait!!

ETA: If I were ever to get one, I would get a lone star (as in Texas) for my home state (I haven't lived there since I was 18, but my entire family was born and raised in TX). But I doubt very much it would ever happen.

2. Where are they? 3 on my lower back (two flowers on each side of my first tattoo, a black and pink tribal butterfly) 1 on right shoulder blade (black and pink tribal heart), 1 inside left ankle (an open book), 1 on outside right ankle (5 butterflies in different size).
3. Do they have special meaning? My open back tattoo does. It represents how I love to read, and reading is my escape. All if my butterfly tattoos pretty much mean to me, freedom and beauty.

The one on my back is a frog jumping off the word faithful. DH hates it. Its more of a symbol of faith, jumping into abyss with a crap ton of faith. Its how I do things. Sill I know
The one on my ankle has a special place in my heart. My school requires us to do 4 semester of student ministry. I went down to Atlanta Underground for a year, then transfered to Little 5 Points because they needed a driver to go there. They had a issue with the tattoo shop calling the police on them so I went in, got a tattoo and shared my testomony with the guy doing my ankle. It was the most amazing experience of my life (that I wont bore the non religious folks with)

3. Do they have special meaning? The one on my chest has a very special meaning - emblem for my mom who passed away. Second one is my initials. I have a third one in mind.

3. Do they have special meaning? The one on my back does, it of a jagged cross in black and white, the one on my foot is just pink flowers with vines and leaves and I just like it!

3. Yes, it is a rose( with his initials) for a dear friend who passed away in a car accident. He is the reason DH and I got together.
Do you still love it? I teach 8th grade and I have a student every year with a tattoo. I often wonder how many of them will still like their choice when they grow up.
Nostril. Thinking of taking it out though... I am in law school and I have a job at a law firm line up for this summer and I'm not sure that it will fly. I took it out and covered it up with makeup for my interview.

Yes I still like it, but it really needs to be redone and this point due to tanning etc. I probably wouldn't have gotten where I did if I had thought more about it, but still enjoy the tattoo and like the memories of it.
1. Yes. I had 3, and I've had 2 of them removed. I got them all when I was 15-16, and they are HORRIBLE. They're well done, but they're girly stuff that a teenager would get--a butterfly, a flower, and a bird.
2. I had a flower on my back (removed), a butterfly on my chest (removed), and a bird on my stomach (still there).
3. No. They just remind me that I was young and had very, very poor taste!!
