Am I the only one here who doesn't really have a bedtime schedule,
then? We just tend to go by his cues. Bedtime for him is generally
around 11pm, which is when he does his long stretch. He is usually up for the day between 8-9am. He used to STTN but now with the 4 month wakeful, he wakes once or twice.
He still naps very frequently during the day- probably 5-6 naps a day.
We don't mind going by his schedule so I didn't really think there was anything wrong with not structuring things.
We
rock him to sleep when he gets sleepy and starts to rub his eyes, or
he'll fall asleep on his last bottle and we'll put him down.

Well, now I feel a little better.
I'm at home for at least another year so there is no real need for him to be on any kind of routine yet. He does nap pretty late- often going for one around 9pm for just a half hour or so.
At 6 months we're going to try to transition him to his crib so maybe a routine would be more beneficial then?

We still don't have a real bedtime routine and DS is 18 months. We do a bath after dinner and bed between 8-9. That's it.
I don't think there is anything wrong with not having a schedule. You do what works for you
