DH just left for TWO MONTHS :(

he had to go to El Paso for work. im planning on going to NM to spend some time with family and see him a few weekends, but I cant leave for a couple weeks due to pet care. He left a few hours ago and im alredy bored

    That is so hard! The longest DH and I have ever been apart was one week (he had to go to Wisconsin for work) and when the car was just barely out of sight, I started crying. Just make sure you guys talk on the phone a bunch. Hang in there!

    :( I'm sorry. That really, really sucks. If my DH ever had to do that, I'm not sure how I would make it now that we have 2 little ones and no family around. I'm a wimp like that.

    Ugh I am so sorry and know exactly how you feel. My husband left last week for 17 weeks...so far we are ok.   I think going to NM to see your family will help a lot.  I know the boredom though  hate it!  Good luck!

    Do you have SKYPE?   We use this when DH goes out of town.  Also nice for DD to see/talk to gramma and grampa.

    DH & i have lived separately since november.  it sucks.  stay busy and show LO pictures a LOT.  try to get them to "talk" on the phone.

    the past 2 visits, DS has cried and clung to me at first sight of DH.  it is heartwrenching.

    Aw, that sucks. You'll make it though!!

    My H is in the military and we've been separated lots but the boys and I always manage to get through it.

    Time will fly by once y'all get into the groove of things.
