I didn't get the car this weekend like I was hoping.  Yesterday was because I wasn't fit to drive in my sleep deprived state.  And today DH only got up five minutes before he had to leave for drill.  He's supposed to get done early today but that could be at 1 or 4:55.  I think it's time to get a second car because I'm tired of being cooped up in the house everyday waiting for him to get home from work just so I can have a little sanity.  So I think we're going to start scouring the auto shoppers and classifieds for a reliable well loved vehicle.  I cant even go to the grocery store right now for lunch because our road has been poorly plowed and I don't feel safe walking this road or the main road with the stroller well into the street and traffic and wearing DD at the same time.  So the plans I had this weekend which I was really looking forward to are being postponed.  At least I go to the grocery store tonight though to stock up for the week.

Ugh, I'm sorry I'd be mad at my DH if he did that to me and left me stranded.

Can you take DH to work sometimes?

That's what we did when we were sharing a car. It was a pain to have to get up so early to take him, but worth it to be able to go do things that day. Then he'd call when he was done/nearly done and I'd go get him. Sometimes he had to wait a few minutes for me but oh well.
