Clomid - Day 1 Question

Sorry if this question has been asked before.  My doctor just started me on Clomid and I'm not sure what day should be considered Day 1.  (Unfortunately, I didn't think of this question until the weekend, when the office is closed!) My period started Wednesday evening but it was pretty light (a little more than spotting though).  Is Day 1 the first day of any bleeding, even if it's light?  Or should I start counting the following day?  Thanks!

    CD1 is the first day of red flow that you need a pad or tampon for.

    this.  Also, what time did it begin on Wednesday? My RE says to count anything after 12 noon as the following day.
