wtf- nurse on call vent

I love my dr's nurses. they are always sweet and never make me feel dumb for calling them....but when i have to call the emergency line for bleeding and get one of the other dr's nurses I dont like it. She was rude and kinda made me feel stupid for calling and that pisses me off when I was in the freaking L&D two nights ago for contractions.

That sucks but don't let it get to you. You are your own advocate so if a 2 minute phone call puts her out then thats her problem. She's not the pregnant one with a concern.

It is reasons like that that make me nervous about calling doctors after hours.  Not just during this pregnancy, which luckly I haven't had to so far, but for any reason!!  Sorry she was like that!

Report her a--!!!!   If she can't deal with what is part of her job then she shouldn't be doing it.

THIS! Even if you don't remember her name they will know who was working the phones at that time. Don't feel put out for calling at all. You did what you were supposed to do. Like pp said you are your own advocate. 

Just a tip. When my sister was bleeding and she called, the nurse never let her doctor know. So make sure you call to follow up.
