2nd Trimester

Kinda bummed...

I was pretty sure I felt baby move yesterday sporadically through the day.  But, today, I'm not sure if I've felt anything.  I may have felt a light "thump" but that was all.  Come on baby, I'm waiting!

  • It comes and goes in the beginning. :)

  • How far along are you? I felt the first movements in the middle of the 16th week but wasn't really sure what they were.
  • I am 16 weeks 2 days.
  • I know what you mean.. I felt him the other day, and then a little this morning when I was laying down. Definitely nothing consistent yet.

  • You;ll definitely feel it again very soon! In the beginning I felt it mostly after eating. So, each a snack and then go sit somewhere and relax a little, and you'll have a better chance of noticing the feeling.

  • 16 weeks is too early for consistant moving, don't worry you'll get there!  I'm 25 weeks & my midwife told me at my last appointment that I should now feel him every day & to call if I didn't consistently.

  • I'm on baby #2 also and I've been feeling the baby almost everyday for a week or so now. I also have a lot of quiet time while at work so I don't really have anything to distract me from feeling it either!

Usually not for 2nd timers!! I felt this one so much earlier (around 14-15 weeks) than I did the first time..closer to 20 weeks then!
