I have one for Malone. He's started to notice it now and it ends up in his mouth. Did that happen with your kids? I don't have it on him now because I'm afraid he'll brake it and choke!

I have a boatload of amber jewelry that my mom brought back from Russia. I wouldn't think to let my kids teethe on it. It was a wee bit too expensive for that.

You don't actually let them "teethe" on it. It's made to be worn, and when the amber is heated up by the skin, it releases succinic acid which helps with teething pain.

Jerseysunrays: I think that his necklace is too big. They shouldn't be able to get it over their chins and into their mouths. Perhaps you just need to size down? My little man tries has tried to put it in his mouth a few times, but I've just redirected him. It hasn't been a problem. I have had to watch them more closely trying to pull on one another's necklaces because they can see those.

Inspired by Finn makes very sturdy necklaces. If you enter the giveaway, you could get a smaller size and hang onto his current one until he gets a bit older. Just a thought!
