first trimester screening for down syndrome

Does anyone know what the scores mean?  My doctor says it came out "negative," but she also gave me a score of 1 in 3,800, so I'm just wondering exactly what that means.  Anyone know?  I guess more curiosity than anything else...

It means you can't sue them if they are wrong. With 1 in 3800 odds... I'd say you are fine. Congrats on your healthy baby!
