Has anyone ever done that Gerber save for college program?

I got some info on it in the mail yesterday, and we want to start a college fund before B.P. is born.

I was just going to do it at Bank of America where all of our other accounts are, but I thought I would ask about the Gerber one.

Have you looked at a 529 plan? That's what we're doing and you can set it up so anyone can donate to it (so if grandparents want to put money in as well they can). That's what my dad's financial advisor suggested for us but I know it varies by state.

Yep.

They have those through BoA, so I was going to go in and set one up this week.  It looks like Gerber is the same thing.
