turns out she is crazy

Certifiably.  I have two girlfriends who went off to city hall and got married. They chose to spend minimally on the wedding because they are several months into IUI's and it just made sense.  They are having a big party today for 30 people at a large home a bit out of the city.  

I knew A was 'helping'.  She failed to mention that she essentially cooked the entire menu.  A turkey, pot roast, beef wellington, chorizo corn bread stuffing, squash puff pastry appetizers and mini leek (?) pizzas.   The vegetable dishes are getting done today.  She was in the kitchen all day yesterday and the house smelled heavenly when I got home, but none of it was dinner.

We just filled my car (plenty cold out) with all of the food and she scooted off to yoga.  I will meet her afterwards and we will take my car out to prepare the rest. 

I know I complain a lot.  But oh my goodness I love my crazy life with her.  So talented.  Literally the best food I have ever tasted.  Fun.  And an amazing heart.

There is a book about the five 'love languages,' but when she cares for someone she cooks for them. Most amazing heart ever. (Also explains my weight gain.)These friends come over for dinner often, and have become friends of the two of us.  I know they asked her for help because she has experience cooking for large groups and loves doing it, but she does so much more than anyone would ever ask.

She sounds fabulous, BGG.  I only wish I lived closer so I could hang out with the two of you!
