Ford Edge anyone?!?

Please give your pro's and con's of the ford edge... We are looking into something bigger then our vlks passat but we don't want a boat:)  We are about to have our 2nd child...

I love my Edge.  In July I will have it for 2 years.

Go for the extras

- auto trunk (open from remote)

- gps

- sync for your phone  LOVE LOVE LOVE this feature

Ride is nice... gas is ok

 

If I had to do it again YES i would get it again

I, too, vote for the extras- so worth it. I love that it has a big cargo area and the seats fold down nice and flat. I have been a passenger in it for long ride and it's very comfortable.

Back seat is very roomy

 

If I could change anything..... it's stupid but I would add cup holders to the bad row.  Right now it's in the middle seat thing.. it comes down..

So if you have three people in the back there is no where to put their drinks (I don't think the back doors have holders)

No cup holder in the doors in the back- just the front.

I have had mine for about 2 years.  It's a company car so I was not sure what to expect.  I have a 3 1/2 year old and we really like this car.  Since I am a sales rep, I spend a lot of time in my car anyway so it's nice to actually like it. It is roomy but it does not feel like you are driving a huge bus or something.  I find it easy to park too (which is good since I often park in tight parking garages).  We always take this car when we take a family trip.  Since it has the split back seats it allows more room for luggage, stroller, golf clubs and more.  I am happy with it.  If you put 2 car seats in the back, you won't be able to fit between them unless you are super, super tiny!  It's tight to fit 1 car seat and two people in the back.
