Well, my oh so easy, never sick pregnancy, took a total 360 degree turn this past weekend.
At 26 weeks my water broke, or leaked is more like it, which gave me a direct ambulance ride to the closest level 3 nicu hospital in kentucky.
Thankfully all is well with me and the baby, my fluid levels are good but they aren't going to let me leave since I sprung a leak. You'd think by now they'd figure out how to plug you back up, LOL!
So, if anyone has any good websites, books, or other ideas on how to pass the time, let me know. As long as everything coninues as it is I'll be here for another 5 weeks or more.
Thankfully all I need to work is my computer and phone, so that does help to pass the time as well!!
Re: Hospital will be my home for the rest of this pregnancy!
Oh wow! Bedrest at home has to be bad enough, but at the hospital? I feel for you!
Netflix would be my friend.
Haha! You'd think, right? I'm so sorry you have to be in the hospital for so long. I'm glad everything is ok and I wish you well! You can always come pass the time by chatting with us
Oh sorry to hear that but this beats the alternative!
Try to relax. Enjoy some DVDs, have hubby sneak in some of your favorite foods, and just pray that you end up staying there a long time!
Aw, you poor thing, that stinks! Thank God you are both ok - and you definitely seem to be taking it with a great attitude!
Do you craft or have any interest in learning? Maybe you could learn knitting, cross-stitching, something like that? You can also look for ideas for your nursery online...start a blog to share your experiences and keep your family/friends updated...play games online with other people (you can play stuff like Scrabble and Uno on Facebook, either with friends or strangers).
Good luck!!
Netflix has tons of fun shows you can watch instantly on your laptop. Even if you get the cheapest memebership of 1 movie at a time, you can watch all the movies you want online. There are some really fun British shows that I had never heard of before. One of my favorites is IT Crowd.
Pogo.com has a bunch of fun free games online.
Scrapbooking or knitting would be doable if someone can get you the supplies.

good luck!
This!!! I have had a pogo account for years, and I love it, and its a great way to kill time! If you join 'Club Pogo', you get to play all of the games, and they offer weekly challenges that will keep you occupied!
Thanks everyone, great ideas, keep them coming!
I do have a blog that I'm keeping everyone updated and I've thought about the whole knitting thing and giving that a try. I'm not too into scrapbooking, prefer the electronic versions via blogs, but I'm probably going to have to come up with some other hobbie while I'm stuck in here!
Baby #3 is on the way! EDD 3/8/15
DD1--8/29/10
DD2--11/6/12
I am glad to hear that you and baby are doing well and that baby is taking some more time to cook! I would suggest any book by Kristen Hannah, especially True Colors, and also by Jodi Picoult (although not Songs of the Humpback Whale - too slow). I would def. do netflix and then of course any movie that you love to watch over and over again! Hope all goes well!
Trust me I asked! But basically they said there is nothing I could our couldn't have done to caused this or prevented it. Apparently it happens to about 7% of pregnancies but I've never known anyone in that 7%. Lucky me, perhaps I should get some lottery tickets while I'm in here!
I don't have a kindle, but love to read, so after this, I may be looking into one though!
