Talk to me about Huggies

Swaddlers 2-3s are too expensive (up to 35c/ diaper Indifferent). We'll use up what we have left, but I really can't justify buying more at that cost.

Do huggies run big? We'll be going with 3s. DD was 14lb14oz at 3 months, so she should be ready for 3s in another 2 weeks once we finish our swaddlers. She's got a pretty big torso and short legs.

I haven't heard good things about Baby Drys and Cruisers aren't on sale this week. I can get huggies pretty cheap though.

  • I think they are a little big.  DS is around 18lbs and the 3s are a little big on him still.

  • Love them! It's the only kind I will buy however I am not really a fan of the regular ones. I perfer the ones in the red box/bag which are the snugglers or the little movers depending what size. DS is still in size two snugglers and he's almost 17 lbs. I don't think they really run big though, I just follow the sizing recommendations on the box and haven't had any problems so far.
  • my DD is on the small side 11lbs at 3months we use size 1 and they are big! The tabs overlap. We buy both pampers and huggies depending on what deals we find and like both.

ETA: we buy both the snug & dry and the little snuglers(very similar to swaddlers)

  • We just switched from Pampers Cruisers to Huggies Little Movers. In my opinion they are sooooo much better. I do think they run a little bit big.

  • Thanks. This helps a lot. The price difference in what's on sale right now is just a few cents a diaper b/n pampers and huggies (17-20, respectively). Plus, I can always get huggies cheap from costco, I just didn't want ot be stuck with 216 diapers that didn't work well for her.
