First and foremost I'm ok, and my kids weren't in the car when it happened. In overcoming all the emotion of the accident, this part is catching me as particularly sad. I'm pretty sentimental over that silly car. It basically saved my life....

yeah, it was the same accident. DH and i cleared up some misunderstandings since then. He didn't realize how serious it was. He thought I basically just bumped my bumper, not totaled my car.
