Spray Tan While Pregnant???

Do any of you girls know anything about spray tanning while pregnant? I have been plenty of times before being pregnant, and love it. I have a wedding that I am supposed to be in here pretty quick and would love to have a little color for it. Anyone done it, or what about self tanning lotions while pregnant?

Depends on what's being sprayed on your body and absorbed through your skin. I'd ask my doctor first, if I were thinking of it. Or google it.

Go for the airbrush tan.. looks better and as long as the room is well-ventilated, you're perfectly fine!

I would be very wary. If you check cosmeticsdatabase.com, you can look up self tanning lotions, and they seem to have a higher risk factor associated with them.

That's not true -- well, unless you mean ALL spray tans including airbrush sprays.

I had an airbrush spray done for my wedding, and EVERYONE thought the tan was the perfect glow. It was done by a person tho, not a booth, which can make a HUGE difference.

No way!  Natural redhead here and I live by them   Just know your limit on color depth. I go for a level 1, not the level 3!!   To the OP- I have no idea if they're safe, but I'm wary of inhaling any chemicals if I can avoid it...  I think your Dr would be the best person to ask.

My doc said go for it, so I will be. It's really a personal preference. Just like having a glass of wine while pregnant.

Wow, obviously there are such things as improvements in this field, just like every other. I use the versa spa (havent yet since pregnant) but the reason I switched to it was that this stand up spray tanner is an all natural product and it is nothing like the nasty mystic tan. I would use the level 1 (im half black but suuuuper light) and it gives me a nice NON ORANGY bronzed look and i can open my eyes during it and breathe normally. So something like that is probably not a big deal. So you can get over the idea that ALL spray tans make you look orangy. Apparently you live in a box to think that fact despite several people saying otherwise.

 I spray tanned once... Not really. But as long as you dont come out looking like this, I think its A-OK!
